Why Do You Seek Him?

Recently, I saw an intriguing film that explores an interesting concept. The plot revolves around 4 individuals called a "unit" employed by a corporation to pose as an actual family. The unit is given the best of everything: A gorgeous home, high-end cars; name brand products; pricey tech toys; designer clothes, and the list goes on. So anyway, this "fake family" moves into an unsuspecting upper middle-class neighborhood, and flaunts all of their wares (even though neighbors and "friends" have no idea their lives are staged). Seeing the affluent family live such a "good life," others begin desiring what they possess. As a result, sales of the coveted items skyrocket, the unit receives sales credit, and are paid handsome commissions. Anybody that knows me will likely tell you that I'm a little bit frugal. I don't like to spend money frivolously, so if I can keep my money in my pocket, I will. Seriously. I do my own manicures and pedicures, style my own hair, and arch my own eyebrows. I don't believe in giving away money for someone to do something for me, that I can just as well do for myself. Happy Monday Daily Cup readers! Hope your week-end was productive and that you're not too thrown off by the loss of an hour. I was talking to one of my sisters who forgot we'd be "springing forward" on Sunday. I think that makes most of us. Well, she and a few of her friends had an important out of town ministry engagement that took several hours worth of driving. Instead of heading straight back home after it was over, they did a little bit of shopping, eating, and touring. By the time they received their reminder about the time changing, it was already too late to make it home before midnight.
