This one, specific situation wasn’t turning around. It wasn’t getting better. There was no breakthrough in sight. But the Lord had already assured me with multiple confirmations that He was making away, and moving in my favor ... quickly.
Of course, however, the enemy saw that season of waiting as an opportunity to sow seeds of doubt in my mind. Where is your God now? he taunted me.He hoped he would be able to prey on any latent fears, worries and anxieties about the circumstances. But instead of giving the enemy what he wanted, I chose to believe God. I declared the word of the Lord over my situation. I decided to focus on God’s promises rather than my problems.
Believe me: I had every chance imaginable to think about the possibility of failure, ruin, and utter disaster. But none of those outcomes were consistent with what God said to me, so I rejected them. As a dear friend of mine often says, “There is only one outcome: victory!”
And that’s what you have to declare in the middle of adversity. Say victory is mine—because it is.
God knows your situation. He is not surprised by the negative, daunting circumstances you’re facing. That doesn’t change the victorious outcome He has preordained. Instead of looking at what circumstances say, pay attention to what God says about you. He calls you victorious. He says you’re more than a conqueror. His word says the Greater One lives inside of you. You have no need to worry, fret, or fear. You are victorious through Christ.
Well, during that season of struggle, I yet believed God and declared His promises. I stood firmly on the Word. And you know what happened? I began seeing what I was declaring. Victory showed up. God's word manifested.
Something suddenly shifted in my situation. What Satan tried to tell me would take a long, long time was fixed rapidly. God shifted things in my favor quicker than expected. I'm believing for a similar shift in your life, too.
Won't you trust Him with me today?
A quicker-than-expected turnaround is coming! Praise God in advance for it.
If He did it for Peter in Acts 12, He can do it for you.
This scriptural passage is set during a time when King Herod was on the warpath against Christ’s disciples. He had James the brother of John killed with a sword. Then, the Bible says, Herod had Peter arrested, thrown in prison and guarded by four squads of soldiers.
This ruler wanted Peter held until his public trial.
But the night before the legal proceedings were to happen, verse 7 says, “Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. ‘Quick, get up!’ he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.”
The Lord was proving that it wasn't man that held the key to Peter’s release, but God!
Friend, your release is also in the hands of the Lord. What He has in store for you and the way you’ll receive it will defy logic. The word of God says Peter was even confused about his release. In fact, verse 12 it tells us, “He had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision," because the miracle the Lord performed seemed surreal. Listen: If God can work miracles for Peter, He not only can, but will, do it for you.
Here’s what I love about this chapter. In verse 5, the Bible says, “The church was earnestly praying to God for him.” Believers started interceding for Peter. This gets me excited. You know why? Because things happen when saints get together and pray! I am a living testimony. These folks bombarded heaven, not knowing that, while they were asking God to move, the angel of the Lord had broken Peter out of prison.
Breakthrough manifests when prayers go up. Always remember that. These prayer warriors didn’t even know God was working while they were praying. They just kept on seeking the Lord with no inclination that their answer was about to come knocking—literally. When Peter knocked at the outer entrance of the house where everyone was gathered, the Bible says a servant named Rhoda came to answer the door. When she heard Peter’s voice, she was so excited, she ran back to everyone without letting him in.
“Peter is at the door!” she shouted.
Here’s the funny thing. The very ones who were praying with all their hearts, didn’t believe Rhoda. “You’re out of your mind,” they told her. That turnaround came so quickly, at first, they couldn’t believe it was true. They were unable to wrap their minds around it.Verse 16 says, “But Peter kept on knocking, and when they opened the door and saw him, they were astonished.” As the saints were praying, before they had a chance to say amen, their answer showed up at the door.
This is your word: there are some prayers you have been praying that are already answered. The manifestation is about to show up in your life. The opportunity is going to knock on your door. The good news is going to take you by surprise. What God is about to do will exceed your expectations! Get ready for your blessing to come knocking.

Today, I prepare myself and assume a posture of expectancy, as I open my heart to receive all You have for me. I declare by faith that it is done. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
