I love stories with happy endings. No matter how complex things get as the plot thickens, by the time it's over, I want everything to be alright.
Whether I’m reading a book, watching a movie, or enjoying a theatrical play, I like for situations to turn out fine in the end. And when they do, with no shame, I will get all emotional and cry openly over a touching conclusion.
Yes, I’m one of those people.
You know, the longer I live, I see how much art imitates life. By that I mean, in reality, things often get rough, hectic and complicated "in the middle." But still, God has a way of creating the best possible outcome from the worst possible circumstances when it's all said and done.
That's what I love about God.
There have been times when I was in a very low place and God, by His power, lifted me up out of it in ways I could have never imagined.
He does things so well.
Sure, I’ve lost some things and people in my life. I have gone through prolonged seasons of lack, hurt, illness, and sorrow. But every time, God brought me through and out, better, stronger, wiser, and more equipped to handle greater challenges in the future.
Earlier today, I was sharing on my Facebook page that “the Lord loves creating positive endings from negative beginnings.”
Here’s the rest of what the Lord laid on my heart to say:
The very thing that turned your life upside down, God is able to turn it around for your good. But in the meantime, when it all seems too much to maintain, God has more than enough power to sustain you!
His word to you today is 2 Corinthians 12:9 which says, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
By God’s grace, you are empowered to endure this difficult transition that will ultimately position you to walk into your place of divine destiny. My friend, just trust God to bring you through!
I’m a witness that He’s able.
That’s why, today, I’m stirring a special video into your cup of inspiration from November 16, when I appeared on “TCT Alive.” During the sit-down with Dr. Robert Lowe, I shared how God turned my test into a testimony and I know He will do the same for you!
You may not have time to watch the entire televised discussion, but at around the 7:38 mark is where the conversation focuses on my traumatic incident that led to a prolonged illness in 2011. I pray that the insights I gained through that tough season are a blessing to you.
I also want you to make sure you agree with me in prayer that begins around the 17:33 mark. I believe that God will minister to your needs as you watch.
Be sure to share with me how you were impacted today, either in the comments section, on Facebook, or by emailing me at [email protected].
As always, thanks for reading and until next time... may today's cup of inspiration uplift, encourage, and empower you!
