Your testimony is the key to somebody's deliverance and when you don't share it, you deprive them of the strength, empowerment and hope they could gain from witnessing your victory. You build the faith of others by being a living, breathing, moving example of the life-transforming power of God.
Are you sharing your testimony?
I am.
That is why I am so excited to reveal a new website Empowering Everyday Women Ministries has launched: GettingBetterEveryday.org. The encouraging ministry website features my story, as well as the testimonies of six other inspiring women who have faced difficult challenges in their lives and overcome them by the grace of God.
I remember when the Lord first placed it upon my heart to undertake this project. I prayed about it to make sure I understood exactly what He wanted and How He wanted it done. Then I took it to my staff and shared my heart with them.
Thank God I obeyed.
Now there is a resource, which the Empowering Everyday Women team will continually add to, to serve as a beacon of hope and inspiration for anyone who needs it.
Perhaps you are going through a difficult season and need to be reminded of God's faithfulness to honor His word. If so, visit GettingBetterEveryday.org, which has been birthed out of something my mother told me when I was ill and at my lowest point. I actually blogged about it last year here.
One day, I was so sick and depressed about my condition that when I called my mother, I could do nothing but sob on the phone. I couldn't even form coherent sentences. But in the midst of my despair, she told me, "Dianna, no matter how you feel, I want you to say, 'It's getting better every day.'"
And you know what? When I was at my worst and unable to get out of bed without help, I still whispered (with tears rolling down my face at times), it's getting better every day.
Today, I am living what I was speaking back then. God made everything alright!
Now I am able to give someone else the same assurance and inspiration by sharing my testimony of hope and deliverance through Jesus Christ.
You can too.
To remind you to share your testimony, I'm stirring Psalm 105:2b NIV into your cup of inspiration. It simply says, "Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds."
When you drink down the contents of your cup, I pray you will be inspired to talk about the mighty works the Lord has done in your life. Spread the good news of God's grace, favor, love, hope, and deliverance with the world.
You never know whose life you'll touch.
Are you sharing your testimony?
Somebody needs it!
Now let's pray.
God, I thank You for all You have done for me! I will do my best to tell others just how awesome You are in my life. Today, I ask that You would help me to continue to find ways to share Your goodness with as many people as possible so that their lives will be touched and their faith strengthened through my testimony. For the rest of my life, I will declare Your goodness, mercy and great faithfulness toward me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
As always, thanks for reading and until next time... may today's cup of inspiration uplift, encourage, and empower you!
If you need prayer, don't hesitate to request it. I would be honored to stand in faith with You. I know that prayer works. CLICK HERE to learn how to submit your prayer request.
