There is a particular project I started a while back when I felt the Lord impressing it upon my heart to do so. I never quite got the opportunity to finish it, however, because of some unforeseen life circumstances.
Well, the other day, I felt an urgency to resume working toward my goal of completing this assignment, which is precisely what I did.
As I was hard at work, my husband Kenya mentioned something I had forgotten all about—the huge portion I actually did get done all that time ago.
When I located it and combined my new addition with what I had previously accomplished, I was amazed by how well each individual piece complemented the other. How had my brain allowed all my labor to be consigned to oblivion, just totally wiped clean from my mind?
I’m not sure how that happened—it was so much—but once the discovery was made, I was thrilled to know my labor had not been in vain.
Kenya said to me with a smile, “See? It all came together for such a time as this.”
Truer words were never spoken.
Although there is still much to be done, the end goal is not that far out of my reach now. I so love when things come together in God’s timing, don’t you?
In moments like this we are reminded that the Lord is sovereign and He knows precisely how and when to bring things full circle. Today, if you just so happen to be walking through a season where the outcome is obscured from your view, this blog post is for you.
God has you on a set path my friend. And when the time is right, the pieces of the puzzle will fit together perfectly.
I know it can be difficult to envision the big picture when you’re in the trenches working. But as I often say, God knows the end from the beginning. Soon enough, it will all click and you will be in complete awe of God’s omniscience.
So don’t worry when you can’t "see the forest for the trees" and things don’t make much sense in your life. Just keep obeying God.
Even when you can’t see God's hand, if you can hear His voice and obey, things will all work out.
Right now, say by faith, “It’s all coming together.”
It is indeed.
To help you ground that faith confession in the word of God, I’m stirring Philippians 1:6 KJV into your cup of inspiration. It says, “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
When you drink down the contents of your cup, your spirit will be stirred, your faith boosted, and your confidence built. You will know that the plans God has for you are firmly intact and your expected end will come in His perfect timing.
In the meantime, wait in earnest expectation of the manifestation of the unfailing word of the Lord.
It’s all coming together.
Do you believe that?
Now let’s pray.
Father, I thank You for encouraging my faith today and reminding me of the good plans You have for my life. Even when I don’t see how all the pieces fit together, please help me remember that the just live by faith, not by sight. I believe You Lord in all circumstances. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
As always, thanks for reading and until next time... may today's cup of inspiration uplift, encourage, and empower you!
