My heart is so full today Daily Cup family! My mother, Annie, finished her final radiation treatment yesterday and I'm thrilled. God brought her through a rigorous breast cancer battle and she's yet alive to testify about it. As you can see above, her head, which was bald during chemotherapy, is now covered with beautiful silver hair and she's wearing a bright smile on her face--something our family celebrated this past Saturday.
We threw Mom a surprise birthday party and gave thanks for her triumph over Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Throughout the process there have been a lot of tears, sleepless nights, and uncertain days.
But today is a day of rejoicing.
Had it not been for the Lord on our side, this could be a very different moment.
The same is true for you.
I know God has brought you through some stuff that you weren't sure you would survive. But look at you now. What a mighty and faithful God we serve! He is with us through every storm, test, and trial that comes to shake our faith, no matter how bad it looks.
So today, I want to encourage you. Even if you're in the middle of a hard season and things look like they'll never turn around, let my mom's life stand as a testimony that God is able. He is has all power in His hand and knows the end from the beginning. Because of that, you can rest assured that He's already working things out.
I know you might be crying and burdened, but God is there. You might be unsure of your next move, but the Lord is walking with you right now.
To remind of you of this, I'm adding Palm 31:7 NLT to your cup of inspiration. It says, "I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul." When you drink down the contents of your cup, you'll be reminded that whatever situation you find yourself in, you have a reason to rejoice!
Why?
Because you can be confident that God sees you right where you are. He knows and understands exactly what you're going through. And His compassion is unfailing through it all. This is why you can give Him praise in the midst of both joy and sorrow, and say with a sincere heart, today is a day of rejoicing.
God has seen your tears and heard your cries and He already has a plan for your deliverance.
Keep trusting. Keep believing. Keep rejoicing.

Lord, thank You for this reminder that I have a reason to rejoice in every circumstance. Though my seasons may change, Your love and grace toward me never does. So right now, I thank You for walking with me, holding me up, and ministering to my needs daily. I praise You for being a mighty refuge, deliverer, and strong tower. No matter what's going on, I choose to rejoice in Your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, Amen.
As always, thanks for reading and until next time... may today's cup of inspiration uplift, encourage, and empower you!
