Hi Daily Cup readers. I am dictating this post as my husband Kenya updates this blog. Unfortunately, as the title states I broke my arm. The picture above with my sisters was snapped at the skating rink where my family and I were enjoying the skating party for Kyla's birthday. Not too long after, I would be sideswiped by two teenagers playing a dangerous game of wouldn't-it-be-fun-to-push-my-friend-over.
Too bad for me, I was in the wrong place at the wrong time and ended up being indirectly pushed.
The result?
A broken radial bone in my forearm.
The doctors say the bone completely snapped in half and damaged my joints and cartilage. At the time of writing this post, I have an appointment with an orthopedic physician to determine whether the exstensive damage will require surgery.
As it stands now, my arm will be in a cast for at least two months. For a while, the pain will prohibit me from blogging. Consequently, though it saddens me, I will not be able to update Your Daily Cup of Inspiration for at least a month or until my condition improves enough to resume normal activities.
Please keep me in your prayers as I recover.
Thanks,
Dianna
