Lately I've been doing more interviews as the support for the music grows and expands to different regions. I'm really thankful for the way I see God opening doors. In fact, I was just sharing on my Facebook music page how the songs have been added to more than 40 radio stations throughout the US, UK, and Africa. God is opening doors so quickly and showing me the fruit of my obedience to His call on my life to formally enter music ministry.
I cannot thank Him enough.
In the midst of my gratefulness, however, I must admit that this is all very new, and somewhat jolting at times. One thing that has taken some getting used to, is the quick pace of those radio segments. During interviews on commercial stations with heavily formatted shows, there isn't always much time to share my heart at length. So my thoughts have to be condensed into 30-second soundbites, utilizing as few words as possible to express myself clearly. Thank God for His Holy Spirit who teaches, leads, and guides me through it all.
With the Lord on my side, the experience, though daunting, has been a great blessing. God is helping me navigate my way around one step at a time. I'm adjusting more and more to the process each day...it is indeed an adjustment.
Because of God's presence dwelling within me, I am able to do all things, and so are you. No matter what type transition you may be facing, good or bad, the Lord is right there with you. Don't worry or fret. Whether you're taking on new responsibilities, coping with personal tragedy or trauma, trying to master unfamiliar skills, or walking in unknown territory, our Heavenly Father is an amazing help in our time of need. Best of all, He knew what this current season of our lives would require even before we entered into it.
If you're going through an adjustment of any kind, fret not. The Father is able, willing, and ready to carry you through. I'm a living witness. If you just run into His arms, He'll be the refuge you so desperately need.
TODAY'S PRAYER: God, new seasons are often trying. I don't always feel prepared or equipped for what I must face within a new reality. But, even when I feel unsure, I am confident in this one thing. You, Oh Lord, are faithful to carry me through every transitional season. In the midst of it all, I thank You for helping me adjust, and for affirming my faith in your sovereignty. In Jesus' name, Amen.
