Today, there’s an old hymn ringing in my soul that says, “The blood that gives me strength from day to day… it will never lose its power.” And as we pray for all those listed on our “Thoughtful Thursdays” prayer list today, I want you to remember that no matter what we go through or what hardships we face in this life, His blood never loses its power to heal, deliver, and set free. Amen?
With that in mind, please join me in praying for the following individuals:

Please pray for God’s peace. I lost my baby and this is the 3rd miscarriage for me and my husband. I see other women with babies and I feel so angry because I don’t understand why I cannot have a child. I am struggling to hold on to my faith. Please pray for me.

Hi Dianna, I am believing God for the salvation of my husband. Neither of us knew God when we got together and now that my life has been turned around, I don’t want to pressure him, but I want him to know God the way I do. He has been coming to church with me but so far doesn’t have any real interest in accepting Jesus Christ into his heart. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will draw my husband. He is a really great guy and I don’t want to see his soul lost.

I am a single mother of three children and I just found out this week that I am being laid off with 9 of my other co-workers. I got my current job that pays really well through a political connection but I don’t have a college degree, and I don’t know how I can get paid at this salary with my lack of education. I have a mortgage, car note, and my ex-husband does not support us so all that falls on me. Please pray that God will give me favor and open up a new opportunity. I will officially be let go in 2 weeks with only 1 week severance pay!! I need something to work out quickly!

Dianna, I read your blog all the time. It has gotten me through some really rough times. I always pray for the women you list on here. I know people say it all the time but I never thought I would be on this list. Well, my mother Darlene just found out that she has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. The doctors are saying it has spread too much and there is nothing they can do. It might sound strange but this request is not for healing of my mother’s cancer, although I know God is able to do anything. But I want him to heal the relationship between my mother and my oldest sister. They have not spoken in almost 2 years and I don’t want my mother to leave this earth without that relationship being mended. Please pray for reconciliation!! I know my sister and mother are both stubborn. They are so much alike, but my sister’s heart will be broken if my mother dies under these circumstances. And please pray for my strength to get through this. My mother is like my best friend. Thank you.

I am requesting prayer for healing and complete deliverance from depression. This is my 4th episode in six years. I cannot find the trigger and I am so tired of dealing with it. My faith in God has not wavered, but sometimes a little encouragement, prayer and support from others truly helps me to make it through. Also, if anyone else has gone through this and would like to share with me please feel free to do so.
Today’s Prayer: God, for every person represented on this list, I pray right now. Although I am unable to heal, save souls, open doors, or reconcile relationships, there is power in the blood of Jesus. Lord, You are able to do all things. Your word tells us that we can come boldly to Your throne and obtain grace to help us in our time of need. We need Your help today. And by faith, we believe it’s already done Father. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
As always, thanks for reading, and until next time… may you be empowered to prosper!
