1. A woman just diagnosed with breast cancer: 27 year old Latasha Payton was doing a routine self breast check when she discovered a small lump. She went to the doctor and they discovered that she is in stage two of breast cancer. She has gone into depression and is refusing to eat and fears that she will die. Please join me in praying for the peace of God to overtake Latasha and also, for divine healing.
2. A victim of rape: A woman named Sheryl was raped last year by a man she considered a close friend. One evening, he forced himself on her and she has been struggling with what happened ever since. "I cannot make the crying spells stop," she says. But we know that God is able to dry every tear. Let's believe the Lord on behalf of Sheryl for emotional healing.
3. Seeking a new job: A woman who wishes to remain anonymous was just fired from her job last month after the company downsized and phased out her position. As a single mother of 3 young daughters, she is the sole breadwinner in her house and is in need of financial stability to maintain a decent standard of living. She has some money saved, but not nearly enough to sustain her family for an extended period of unemployment We are asking God to open a door of opportunity for her to meet those financial needs.
4. Recovering from a severe motor vehicle accident: Wanda Stevens is requesting prayer on behalf of her 21 year old daughter, Stacey, who was hit head on by a drunk driver 3 months ago. As a result, Stacey sustained severe nerve damage and lost mobility in her right leg and the doctors say she'll never walk again. "We're not receiving that report," Wanda says and is asking every Daily Cup reader to believe God for 100% restoration of Stacey's mobility. Let's join our faith with hers today.
5. Praying for God's favor on a mission trip: Regina Patterson is heading to Haiti to do missions work, but feels fearful that something disastrous will occur while she's there. Regina is asking God to deliver her from this spirit of fear, so she can do what she believes God is calling her to do in this hour. We're praying right now that Regina would release that fear and embrace divine boldness for the work of the ministry.
Thanks so much for joining me in prayer. If you have a special request, please don't hesitate to submit it. Discover how here.
As always, thanks for reading and until next time... may you be empowered to prosper!
