"I guess I'm just in a state
of confusion with my life and where it's going," Ms. Gibson wrote in her email. "I know God has a better
plan for me, I just can't see it right now." She also went on to say that at times, she has no peace of mind and struggles with depression. Aside from all that, her faith has taken a hit too. But we know the Lord is able to work things out for her. Today, we're praying for supernatural breakthrough in this woman's finances.
Even though she doesn't know what the plan is, God always has one!
As I pray for Ms. Gibson, my faith is fueled by one of the praise reports I received from a woman who requested prayer anonymously on the blog a while ago. She had not been able to find work for six months. Well, just when she was about to give up, she was called in for a job interview and hired on the spot! She starts on Monday and asked me to thank every one of you for your prayers. The Lord has granted her request.
I know God is able and prayer indeed changes things.
In case you're wondering about the new Thoughtful Thursdays format, there's a reason for it. You see, of the many prayer requests I've received from the readers of the Daily Cup of Inspiration, Ms. Gibson was the only woman who desired for her name to be posted here on the blog this time around.
