Do you ever get overwhelmed when you think about all you have to do in order to accomplish what God has placed in your heart? Does the expanisiveness of your vision seem to go far beyond your personal capabilities? Do you sometimes wonder exactly how you'll get to your "Canaan"... your promised land?
I imagine that we all share these thoughts in common, but I can only speak for myself with any real certainty. When I begin thinking about the great responsibility that comes with destiny, it can be intimidating. But here's what I've learned; whatever you need to know to fulfill the purpose God has ordained for your life, He will teach you.
He'll show you how.
So don't be fearful; don't be discouraged; and don't doubt your calling. Even if you're unsure of how things will turn out, just know that God's hand is on your life. He'll show you what you need to know in order to get to the place you need to be.
He accomplishes this in many ways. Sometimes, God will send people into your life to act as mentors. Other times, He will place you in uncomfortable situations to draw out your hidden talents and skills. There are even times when He'll allow you to come face-to-face with opposition to show you how courageous you truly are.
Whatever methods He chooses, they are all for one purpose-- so that He can get glory out of your life. That's why you have no need to fret. The Lord wants to reveal some things to you. He has so much in store for you.
He's just getting you ready. He's preparing you. He's stretching you. He's pruning you. He's proving you. He's fortifying you. He's molding and sculpting you into a vessel of honor.
You can find reassurance in knowing that His plan is not foiled by your lack of knowlege. On the contrary, His plan and purpose cover our ineptitude. He compensates for our deficiencies. He endues us with His wisdom and anointing, so that, we don't have to do anything in our own strength.
All you have to do is just abide in the vine. Jesus said, "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing" (John 15:5 NKJV).
Apart from the Lord we are incapable of fulfilling our divine calling in the earth. But as long as we remain submissive to His will, He'll lead us right into our destiny. There's no need to worry, because the Lord is with you.
He promised He would always stay. The only way a separation will come is if we turn away from Him. I don't know about you, but in His will is the only place I want to be!
Until next time... may you be empowered to prosper!
