"C'mon... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ... that's it, keep breathing." That's what I heard the doctor say when I was delivering each of my children. "C'mon... breathe through it... you can do it. " My husband would chime in too... like he knew ;-)
Well, even though I was in intense pain and I felt like I would probably die, each time, (four times to be exact), I would breathe and push through the pain. And you know what? I've got four little ones to show for my efforts.
Now, what's my point? When you're laboring to give birth to a vision that God has placed inside of you, it can be downright hard. As a matter of fact, it can be painful to push through all of the obstacles, setbacks, fears, and anxieties. You feel like you won't make it. You think you can't take it. You're convinced that this time you'll most certainly be broken down.
But I'm here to let you know, if you keep pushing, you'll bring forth the fruit of the promises of God. I know that sometimes you may feel suffocated by life. Finances get tight and you feel like you can't breathe. Relationships are strained and you feel like you can't breathe. Your career or business is stagnant and you feel like you can't breathe. Life has you torn in so many different directions and you feel like you can't breathe. I mean things get so hectic and out of sorts, to the point where you feel like you'll never breathe again.
But I want you to know that things won't always be as tough as they are right now. Money won't always be as tight. Relationships won't always seem as difficult to deal with. God is just teaching you to keep your composure under pressure.
And when you feel like you can't breathe, He steps in and breathes on your situation. That's when you get your second wind and begin to really believe you can make it. I sense in my spirit that your second wind is on the way.
You're about to breathe again, smile again, laugh again, be truly happy again. I want you to relax, c'mon... you can do it. Breathe through the pressure. Breathe through the pain. Breathe through the disappointments.
Because very soon, God is about to do a wondrous thing in your life... and next time, you'll be breathing a sigh of relief.
Until next time . . . may you be empowered to prosper!
