This is a “VIP” . . . VERY
IMPORTANT POST. So, read all of it and then re-read it. Before I get started,
I’ll tell you why.
seeking God this morning, He shared something revelatory with me and I want to
talk to you about it. Is that all right? Well, He began dealing with me about
knowing the difference between who I really am, and who I have been molded to
be. I wanted to fully understand what He was sharing with me, so I stayed in
His presence until I gained clarity.
with:
social conditioning and until we examine where our most dominant beliefs stem
from, we have no power to weed out extraneous things that don’t add value to
us. Each of us has endured multiple scenarios—some good and some bad, that have
ultimately shaped the way we understand ourselves, as well as, the world around
us.
our most pervasive thoughts and ideas, we’ll never experience any real growth
in our lives. Listen, you’re going to go through a life-long process of
constantly peeling away layers. You’ll be stripping off old negative patterns
of thinking and behavior. You’ll be shedding false notions and ideas. You’ll be
deciphering between what is true and what is merely posturing as truth.
your mind with the truth of God’s word and growing intellectually, something
awesome will begin to happen. With each passing day, you’ll become more of the
person God created you to be before the foundations of the world, and less of
what others molded you into.
the key. I wonder; have you ever stopped to examine your paradigms? Have you
ever questioned your thought processes? Have you ever considered how you
developed certain preferences, biases, theories, and philosophies?
you’ll go through life on autopilot, without any awareness of how you arrived
where you are. You’ll never be able to connect the dots. You won’t understand
that your life is the sum total of your actions. Furthermore, you won’t realize
that your actions are byproducts of your most dominant thoughts.
the correlation between your thoughts and actions, you’re powerless to improve
your life. What’s more, if you don’t understand the origin of your thoughts,
you are unable to root out the negative factors that are hindering your
progress.
life believing that it is a series of unrelated incidents, because that’s not
true. You have to understand the cause and effect relationship that is
currently at work in you. Whatever you are sowing, that is what you are
reaping. If you don’t like what you’re getting back, change what you’re putting
out. “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he
will also reap” (Galatians 6:7 NKJV).
reaping the wonderful harvest of blessings God has for you, you must get to
know who you really are— not simply who you were raised to be; not who others
said you are; and not who you pretend to be. Rather, you must tap into who God
designed you to be.
accomplished is by putting your faith and trust in Him, and letting Him lead
and guide you into all truth.
