Sometimes, when you’re going through difficult periods of hardship, heartache and struggle, it feels like God has forgotten you. You feel overlooked. Whether you admit it or not, you have moments when you wonder: “Does He truly see my weaknesses, infirmities and difficulties? Is He really present with me? Does He really hear me when I cry? Is He really going to bring me out alright?
I’m here to tell you, unequivocally, unquestionably, unwaveringly, “Yes!” I have no doubt in my mind that the Lord is going to see you through.
You have so many unfulfilled goals and dreams still bottled up deep inside. That’s why I have to get the message to you that, this is not the end for you. It’s only the beginning. Things may not be working out the way you had hoped or planned, but this isn’t the conclusion of the matter. Your best and brightest days are still ahead of you.
And although you don’t know how God is going to bring things to pass, He is. You don’t see how He is going to manifest His blessings in your life, but He is. You don’t understand the “Who, what, when, where, why, and how,” but He does. God, in His infinite wisdom, has already worked things out on your behalf.
You may have faced or still be facing: Failed relationships, financial hardship, health crises, academic struggles, career stagnation, family issues, among other things. Still, I don’t want to hear about you quitting! That’s not an option. Giving up on your God-given purpose is unacceptable. What God has planted in your heart is the key to your destiny. That vision that the enemy wants to steal from you, is the very thing God is going to use to bless you.
Hear me today! You are a mighty warrior set aside for the Master’s use. You have to take your rightful place. Somebody needs to read your book. Someone needs to hear your song. Someone needs to experience your ministry. Someone needs you! If you give up, you’re robbing those you are assigned to, of the message of hope that only you can deliver.
There are some people only you can reach. Your unique life experiences will impact them in a special way. God chose you for a very specific assignment and you must fulfill it.
But while you’re waiting for the full revelation of God’s plan to unfold, trust is the key. It will sustain you through the storms, tests and trials. Your faith roots and grounds you when the furious winds of life are blowing. As long as you never stop believing, your dreams won’t be swept away.
I tell you all the time, if you give up on God and yourself, you can never see the manifestation of any fruit in your life.
I know it’s tough, especially when things seem to repeatedly go wrong. You wrestle within yourself. You’re fighting back those feelings of discontentment, unrest, frustration, and sadness. No one really knows what’s going on in your mind, but God.
Today, this post is for you. It’s to let you know that you’re not alone. Let it be an encouragement to you today. Know that you’re coming out a winner and I don’t mean maybe. You are absolutely headed straight toward victory. If you’ve ever been hit and knocked out of the saddle, you know how disarming that can be. But I’m here to make sure you don’t stay down. I won’t let you waddle in past hurts and failures. Pick yourself up, wipe away those tears, get back in the saddle, and ride all the way into your great future. Even when you feel broken, keep riding. When it hurts, keep riding. When everything in you says stop, keep riding! You haven’t even scratched the surface of your potential yet, that’s why quitting is not an option. Only believe. The way to combat faithlessness is to focus on God’s faithfulness. He will never let you down. Until next time . . . may you be empowered to prosper! Dianna Hobbs
