I want to ask you a question today.
What are you carrying around inside of you?
What have you been holding in, that’s just screaming to get out? What is it? A business? A ministry? A book? An invention?
C’mon, think about it. There’s got to be something. Now, you might wonder why I’m asking you this. Well, the reason is very simple. I want to stimulate and motivate you toward action. I want to be the impetus that assists you in realizing your maximum potential.
It’s time. No, really it is. I’m not just saying that. Listen, you are an intelligent, creative, capable individual and there’s no conceivable reason why you shouldn’t be chasing your dreams. Surely, you may have some very real obstacles in your way, but don’t we all? Still, that’s not an excuse to be mediocre for the rest of your life.
When you get right down to it, don’t you get tired of making excuses? Haven’t you grown weary of focusing on all the reasons why you can’t? Why not try something new? How about talking about what you can do? How does that sound to you?
See, you don’t have to spend the rest of your life with your face pressed up against the glass, hoping that someone will be merciful enough to give you that “doggy in the window.” Unfortunately, you’ll find that many people are unwilling to help you out anyway, even when they’re in the position to do it. So, stop expecting for someone else to rescue you and begin taking steps to rescue yourself.
No superhero is coming to save the day. (Not unless you classify yourself as a superhero. In that case, I will recant my statement J.)
I know it can be tough when those who could and should help you, won’t. I’ve experienced it. I’ve been on the other end of rejection. It’s hard to deal with. But, rather than letting it infuriate you, let it fuel you to push past your limitations and propel you into your bright future.
You can turn things around in your life. I’m a witness to that. You can possess all that God has for you. Just go for it. As long as the Lord is on your side, you have no need to worry or fret. You can hold your head up high and enter into your land of promise. But you’ve got to believe in yourself. It’s the prerequisite to possessing your promise.
God is calling you away from passivity and timidity. He wants you to boldly and courageously seize your moment. No more hoping for someone else to make a way for you. Today is the beginning of your life as a progenitor, an originator and an innovator. It’s your season for you to take your rightful place of dominion!
