Consistently, when audiences hear Dianna Hobbs' music, they are moved by the depth of the songs' meanings and how connected they instantly feel to her music. That's because Dianna writes from a place of heartfelt experience, genuine passion, and true conviction.
One of the artist's personal anthems is a song called, "Do What He Said," which blossomed into a national campaign promoted through EEW Magazine, and paved the way for the launch of her music ministry. The song encourages listeners to obey God and fulfill their life's calling--a message that has inspired thousands.
In an interview with Dream In Soul, Dianna explains how the song was born:
I genuinely believe the Lord wrote these songs to me, so He could get the message through me, if that makes any sense. “Do What He Said”came to me after a conversation with my husband Kenya about whether or not this was the right season to do music. And right on the spot, the lyrics and the melody dropped on me. Crazy, right? I started singing what I heard. “You’ve gotta do it, if He called you to it, don’t make no excuses…”
Dianna has certainly taken her own advice. The multi-talented singer is in the studio working on her debut release.
