Every Thursday, we come together here to pray for others both near and far. As a firm believer in the power of prayer, I want you to make sure that, aside from those mentioned in the weekly “Thoughtful Thursdays” blog posts, you identify someone in your life that needs you to intercede for them.
Perhaps a friend, relative, colleague, or casual acquaintance is struggling physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, financially, or suffering in some way you don’t fully understand or know how to address.
Whatever the challenge, God is able.
As you read through the requests below, also add someone in your circle to your prayer list today.
Who are you praying for?
No matter who it is, know that God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we could ever ask or think.
Please join me in praying for the following individuals:

My Mother is sick, she has been sick for three years and has had chemo, radiation and brain surgery. Her pre-brain surgery symptoms of lack of balance and poor to no mobility are returning. I'm not sure what to ask for, except prayers to help myself and my family to have faith - follow God will - be at peace.

The anniversary of the death of my youngest sister, Anna, is coming up on October 3. She was killed instantly in a car wreck last year. It took me months to get out of depression and begin functioning again. I just need strength of mind to deal with this all. Thank you for your prayers.

I've strayed away from the faith and I have been disobedient to God. I know this is why I am in this situation but I need God to help me get back to where I need to be in him. 3 years ago I backslid even though I was raised up Catholic and was later introduced to the Pentecostal church. I was seeking for spiritual fulfillment and started studying different religions that got me all confused. So I left the Lord altogether and have really dealt with a lot of personal struggles. I got involved with a lot of different men but one man who was abusive mentally and physically. He broke my spirit and I have been drinking a lot. I lost my job because I missed so many days due to my alcohol struggles and my relationship stresses. I am not making any excuses for my behaviors but I really am looking to find my way back to God. I have experienced hell and back and I want my life back. I have lost my family, my daughter and everything. I need to start over. Just pray for me please. Thank you so much.

I am praying for a child. My husband and I are going through IVF after a six year struggle. I am asking that God would bless us with a baby. It doesn't matter the sex as long as the child is healthy. I am crying out with all my heart!

I am praying for the salvation of my mother. I gave my heart to Jesus Christ a year ago and it was the best decision I ever made. When I try to witness to my mother she says she doesn't want to hear that nonsense and won't listen. I don't know how to reach her and I want to see her surrender her heart to Christ. I would like for others to help me pray to God for the salvation of my mother's soul. She is very lost and has been through a lot. Her life could be so much better if she just knew the love and hope that is in God. Please believe and pray with me. God's blessings on you.
God whether they are issues beyond our control or problems that we have caused due to our own bad choices, You are merciful and able to help us when we come to You. So today, I pray for everyone listed here, and also for those not mentioned who are struggling in some way, and are in need of Your grace, help, forgiveness, healing, and favor. Your word says You will draw near to those that draw near to You. So I am humbly asking, oh God, that You would move by Your power and deliver Your people according to Your divine will. I thank You in advance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
If you need prayer, don't hesitate to request it. I would be honored to stand in faith with You. I know that prayer works. CLICK HERE to learn how to submit your prayer request.
