Today marks both an end and a beginning: The end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010, a new year and season in our lives. Now is the time to look ahead toward the future and endeavor to be even more effective for the Kingdom in the year to come. You know, I acquired a lot of new knowledge in 2009. Some came from good old fashioned research and study, but honestly, the bulk of what contributed to my growth and learning, came from the school of life.
Whether pleasant or painful, I'm thankful for all God has allowed me to experience, which has ultimately made me better.
Today, while you prepare to celebrate the incoming of 2010 at the stroke of midnight, please do not forget Thoughtful Thursdays. While I only have one prayer request I am at liberty to share today (The others insisted upon being covered in my private prayer time), please take a moment to say a word of prayer for this young woman.
1. We're praying for Demarka Wheeler who has been very sick in her body. The doctors have found an infected cyst in her back and need to run tests to make sure nothing malignant is "hiding" inside. Demarka is in a lot of pain and must be on bed rest for the next couple of weeks. Today, we're praying that God would miraculously heal her body and dissolve that mass. We know He's able to do anything!
We're seeking God for every person I cannot name today, who is going through intense turmoil and personal struggle. We know that our Father is more than able to heal, deliver and set free. We're believing it all by faith!
Thank you for joining me in prayer and if you need personal prayer, please don't hesitate to send your "prayer mail" to dailycup@eewmagazine.com.
Have a blessed and enjoyable time as you celebrate the incoming of 2010!
As always, thanks for reading and until next time... may you be empowered to prosper!
