I missed blogging yesterday, because I was physically and emotionally spent from rushing to the side of my 74 year old dad who's currently in the hospital. You can never really prepare for a loved one to fall seriously ill. I thank everyone of you who were thoughtful enough to post something on my Facebook wall to let me know you're praying.
Although I'm deeply concerned for my father's well-being, I know God is able. Despite what it all looks like, I believe the Word in Ephesians 3:20 that says, God is able to do "exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think..."
I choose to believe... and that's what you have to do as well, because, at some point in each of our lives, we will be confronted with circumstances that look grim. Those circumstances may take on the form of a negative report, an unexpected tragedy, or a sudden loss of some kind; but still, we have to choose to believe the Word and not the worst.
I'll say that again. We have to choose to believe the Word and not the worst.
I don't know about you, but I believe the word. "The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever" (Isaiah 40:8).
As always, thanks for reading and until next time... may you be empowered to prosper!
