"Daddy a bug is in here!" Kaiah yelled out from upstairs yesterday afternoon after trying to catch it unsuccessfully. Kenya rushed upstairs to come to her rescue, but it was too late; it had already gotten away. Then, not too long after that, I saw a small ant crawling on the sink in my bathroom. As I reached out to capture it, I thought to myself, "Yep, Spring is definitely here!"
You see, during the winter months, I don't have to worry about contending with small insects and critters that make their way from the outside in. Once Winter is gone, however, small ants, centipedes, flies, and other bugs start to infiltrate from the outdoors. Even the flowers and plants that died in Winter blossom once again. Things become fresh and new, which indicates that the season has definitely changed.
If you take time to apply the principles of the seasons to your own life, then you'll realize that your "Personal Winter" won't last always. What is your Personal Winter? Any circumstance or situation that seems stagnant, without any growth, improvement, or productivity. You experience Winter when the very things you want to thrive, seem to dry up and dwindle away. Relationships erode, finances decrease, opportunities diminish, and your confidence sometimes goes right along with it.
But you have to realize that you never stay stuck in any one season forever. Inevitably, Spring will break forth and brand new life, vitality and provision will be evident once again. I know it might be hard to believe that things will come together when your Personal Winter has lasted for such a long time. Nevertheless, they will. You won't always be stuck in the same predicament; things will change.
God has ordained it to be so.
I'm just the messenger to remind you of it.
Today, I want you to meditate on this Scripture, "Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert" (Isaiah 43:19 KJV).
Never stop expecting your new thing, because it's coming. I'm standing in faith with you today for every dry area in your life, that God will rain down from heaven and cause growth, progress, and favor to spring forth.
Remember, whatever hardship you might be facing right now won't last. I can sense the dawning of a new day and the beginning of a brand new season of peace, joy, and prosperity. If you pay close attention, you'll begin to see the signs too...
As always, thanks for reading, and until next time... may you be empowered to prosper!
