I want to talk to you about something very important today, which is, learning to judge your circumstances by what God has revealed to you and not by what things look like. Looks can be awfully deceiving, especially when you're always depending upon a natural manifestation to confirm a divine revelation.
Of course that doesn't mean God never confirms His word through signs and wonders, because He absolutely does. Nevertheless, we must be careful not to rely too heavily on what we can physically see with our eyes, hear with our ears, and touch with our hands as a means of proving what's to come.
God's word stands alone and His ability to bring it to pass is not dependent upon space, time, or any other natural law. He is a sovereign God and He has the capacity to do whatever He pleases.
So, the next time things don't seem to be lining up with what God has spoken over your life, don't panic and begin thinking you've faltered in your faith. Rather, hold on to that revelation you have and when necessary, ask yourself, "What did GOD show me?"
Don't focus on what it looks like today; what others have to say about it; what happened once before; or what future projections appear to be.
No.
What did He show you?
Because at the end of the day, that's all that matters.
Sure, I know it can be tough to hold on to a word from the Lord when everything around you seems to be going in the complete opposite direction. But that's when you have to dig way down deep and focus on the faithfulness of God and not the situation that appears to be contradictory.
Trust me when I tell you, you have to be able to overlook your right now, in order to to look over into your future. You've gotta know that when it comes to divine revelation, "What you see is what you get." If He revealed it, He'll perform it, as long as you're in the right position to receive it.
As always, thanks for reading, and until next time... may you be empowered to prosper!
