I remember barely making it through my final year of college. Man was it hard. I was eight months pregnant with my second daughter, trying to juggle numerous roles. And since science and math never were my strongest subjects, I struggled terribly with chemistry... which just so happened to be what I needed to graduate.
I didn't think I was going to finish school and I remember the enemy telling me, "None of your siblings have ever graduated from college and neither will you."
By the grace of God, I was the first.
Although I greatly excelled in some areas while struggling intensely in others, God saw me through it all. What seemed implausible and highly improbable was possible only because the Lord was on my side.
I want you to know that the same is true for you. I don't care what it is you may be grappling with and how hard the road has been, God has given you the supernatural power to excel. No matter what things look like today, if you'll be bold enough to step out in faith, God will manifest His provision so you can maximize your potential.
I know He'll do it. I'm a living witness!
The implausible truly is possible... but you must first believe it to be so. Unfortunately, many of us think that difficult circumstances make for insurmountable odds. But not when God has predestined you to win.
Now, please allow me to clarify the latter statement. Just because God has preordained that you be victorious, this does not preclude you from enduring some level of hardship. You see, we all must go through something. Some victories will be hard-fought. You might have to cry sometimes. Oh, but if you don't give up, God will see you through.
We have to adopt a "never say die" mentality and a quiet resolve to push past every hindrance to lay hold of the destiny that awaits us. We must remind ourselves of the scripture found in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 which says, "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed." (KJV)
No matter how implausible the notion of conquering our struggles may seem from our current vantage point, we must know that it is yet possible because of God's power that is at work in our lives. "... but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26b)
As always, thanks for reading, and until next time... may you be empowered to prosper!
