Before beginning this post, I want to request that you pray for one of our loyal blog readers who calls herself "angeleyes" that just lost her aunt... thank you for your kindness and concern. Now let's get into today's post.
Whenever God strips a person or thing away from you or allows you to go through something extremely trying, it's because you're in a position to face it head on and still survive. He knows how much you can bear, so if you're going through a season of struggle, hardship, pain, or loss, just know that you're ready to deal with it and STILL come out victoriously.
You see, the road you've been traveling up to this point was designed to prepare you to handle the situation you're facing today. God has been strengthening you and getting you ready for this very moment. And although what has happened might be unpleasant and difficult, you're ready to handle it. You have everything you need to come through all of this and remain spiritually, mentally and emotionally in tact.
You're ready now.
Every test you've withstood in the recent past has sharpened you and refined you for this moment. You didn't understand what God was doing at the time--and still may have a bit of uncertainty--but God was working on you. He pulled out His best "tools", put up the scaffolding, and started hammering away in order to build you up. When most of us hear the word "scaffolding" we think of new office buildings going up, or aging skyscrapers needing repair. Scaffolding is what gets erected outside tall buildings so that workers can easily access a building and work on it.
But now God has removed the scaffolding from your building, because you're ready. As Bishop Jakes once said, "God takes away the scaffolding once you're strong enough to stand on your own two feet"; you can overcome any obstacle you might be facing today and you can survive the storm.
Don't worry about the challenge you're facing. Instead, focus on the fact that God has already empowered you to get through this. You'll rebound. You'll bounce back. You'll be all right.
Just watch and see.
As always, thanks for reading and until next time... may you be empowered to prosper!
