Don't concentrate so much on where you are until you forget where you're headed. Don't think for a moment that the struggle you may be facing today will necessarily carry over into your tomorrow. God has a plan for your life despite the circumstance and opposition.
His purpose will be fulfilled through you. No doubt about it.
Even in the midst of your storm, God has a plan already set in motion, and at the right time... the set time... the appointed time, you'll get your release. I want you to remember that God is never unclear about the path you take. He's never out of control. He knows, He sees, and He cares about everything you're facing. He's also fully aware of where you're headed... to a place of purpose, promise, and provision; so don't be discouraged by the way things look and feel at this very moment. Rather, see through the eyes of faith. Envision your deliverance. Praise God in advance for His favor.
Focus on where you're headed.
He's not forgotten you. He won't fail you. His word is always true and ever sure, even when you're unsure about what the outcome will be. God's word is your refuge; it provides a solid foundation for you and me, although we might feel like we're on shaky ground from time-to-time. When all else fails you've got to learn to stand on it. Speak the word. Grab hold to it and don't let go.
Will the enemy attempt to come in and choke out that very same word? Sure will. But that's all right. As long as you hold to God's unchanging hand and stay in an attitude of faith and thanksgiving, the enemy can't win. If you're not quite sure where you're headed or what God has in store for you, I'll leave you with these two scriptures as reminders:
"But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him'" (1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV).
"For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, 'Abba, Father.' The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us" (Romans 8:15-18 NKJV).
As always, thanks for reading, and until next time... may you be empowered to prosper!
