What has you toiling, spinning your wheels, and over-exerting yourself in an effort to make things happen? What keeps you awake when you should be sleeping and preoccupied when you should be relaxing? What has you expending unnecessary energy in vain attempts to figure out things for yourself that really ought be entrusted into God's hands?
Whatever that thing is--or those things are--I want you to save your energy. Don't worry yourself another day about something that needs to be completely turned over to the Lord. You can't afford to get caught up in a constant mental battle, warring with yourself about what your next move should be, all the while feeling overwhelmed by the various issues you're being confronted with.
A little while ago, I told you to stop toiling and start trusting God. Make room for Him to have His way. Let Him be your deliverer; your way-maker; your shelter from the storm; your very present help in the time of trouble. He wants to come to your rescue, but first, you've got to cast your cares upon Him.
Let Him fight for you;you be still. "Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you" (2 Chronicles 20:17a KJV).
The battle is already won. The victory is yours. God's plan is in motion. Even though you might not be able to see it, it's done.
I know the situation might be trying, but again I say, rest and trust. He's already got it under control. If you're going to use your energy for anything, then use it to praise God and give Him thanks for your breakthrough and deliverance.
As always, thanks for reading, and until next time... may you be empowered to prosper!
