I told you yesterday, don't ever be too afraid to believe God; I want to continue in that vein today. Sometimes God's word looks like it's not going to come to pass. Time keeps marching forward, while you feel stuck in the same place. After a while, the joy you felt at hearing the word of the Lord turns into frustration and disillusionment. Where you were once holding on and believing God, you begin wavering and doubting that He'll do what He said.
As a matter of fact, you often wonder whether or not He said what you originally thought He did. Listen, before you go down that dark road of doubt and unbelief, stop yourself. Take a moment and think about where God has brought you from and all the ways He's made for you. Let your mind go back to a time when you thought you were going down for the very last time, and God delivered you with a mighty and an outstretched hand. Consider how you felt when you thought something would NEVER happen, and then God made a way out of no way.
If He did it before, He'll do it again. Everything He promised you, He'll perform. Don't doubt His word. Don't doubt His provision. Don't doubt His timing. Just don't doubt. Instead, choose to believe in His faithfulness. Rest assured that He's not forgotten His word concerning you. Whatever He's promised... He'll make good on it. I know He will. I've seen Him do it for me too many times before.
I want to encourage you to hold on to your faith. Don't let go of God's promises. He'll bring you through. And the next time you feel discouraged, take some time out to think... think about all He's done, and all He has in store for you. Before you know it, that worry, vexation, and frustration will turn into praise!
As always, thanks for reading, and until next time... may you be empowered to prosper!

Dianna, this word is right on time for me today. I have been in such a whirlwind - in my mind; in my emotions; in my faith. Sometimes I feel like God has plugged his ears and just isn't hearing me because things don't seem to be changing. This has reminded me that God will come through; it will happen. He's brought me through so many times before, why should it be any different now?!? God is faithful. I appreciate this reminder.
This has absolutely nothing to do with this post; however I must share this with you. I love to write; it's something that comes naturally to me. Because of my insecurities I only write for my own personal reading. I've been seeking God concerning purpose and gifts and writing always comes to the forefront of my mind. Once I realized that God was trying to tell me that writing is a gift that he's given me, I asked him to show me how I can use my gift to his glory. It was placed in my spirit to start a daily devotional on my church website. I'm still seeking God for surety but, I said all of that to say you have inspired me greatly through your writing of this blog. You have inspired me to cultivate the gift that God has given me, and use it to the best of my ability, but for his glory. Thank you so much! God bless.

Hi Keisha,
Why am I not surprised to hear that you're going to begin utilizing your writing gift? That's awesome!! I recognized that gift in you right away; I know there's so much in you that can be used to encourage somebody else. Please let me know when you begin writing publicly. I'd love to read what God has placed on your heart. Also, on a personal note, I'm so humbled that you've been inspired by what God has called me to do. I pray that your writing ministry will flourish and grow in ways you never imagined. Thanks so much for sharing!
Warmest Regards,
Dianna Hobbs
