Each of us has a unique call and purpose to fulfill in our lifetime. And we must never be drawn away from what God has called us to do in an attempt to follow after what someone else thinks is best for us. You have to work YOUR vision and no one else's.
That's why, when it comes down to fulfilling your divine assignment, you have a serious decision to make. Will you walk in accordance with the will of God or the will of well-meaning, but often wrong, advisers? Take time to ask yourself, "Who's really directing me? God or other folks?"
I know it can be tempting to consult many diverse sources when making decisions about your future, but sometimes, that can lead to altogether poor choices. Now, does that mean that no one can ever tell you anything? Absolutely not. Does it mean that you should never seek out counsel? Certainly not. It does mean, however, that you have to be very selective about those who are influencing you. Have they been sent by God to assist you or not? If you're unsure, you need to be still until you gain clarity.
Don't confide in and trust just anybody as your friend and counselor. Otherwise, you'll end up walking along a path God never laid out for you, living out a script that someone else has randomly written for you. Please hear me well.
You have a very specific task to carry out on behalf of God's Kingdom. Therefore, you have to be prayerful about the counsel you adhere to when seeking to find your way.
Will there ever be seasons when God will send folks into your life to help usher you into your destiny? Sure there will. But you must be sure and very sure that you don't heed any advice until you know that you KNOW they're sent by God to assist you along the journey.
Your future and destiny are hanging in the balance...so always, always, always, be directed by God.
As always thanks for reading and until next time... may you be empowered to prosper!
