Every once in a while, in the middle of an intense struggle, we all need someone to admonish us to be strong and keep fighting on. We need a reminder that God is faithful. Well, today, I want to be the one to encourage you. Is that all right? Now, I certainly don't know what your particular issue is in detail; however, I do know that you are too valuable to the Kingdom not to fight for the vision God has placed in you. The world needs your gift.
Perhaps you're studying to be a doctor, or you're working in the area of business to influence the world, or you're ministering to folks in your community in an effort to evangelize your neighborhood, or you're launching a ministry of some sort to reach souls for Christ, or you're aspiring to reach out to others through your musical gifting... whatever it is, somebody needs what's inside of you.
And I'm writing to you to say, don't you dare quit. Remain steadfast in your faith, knowing that with God all things are possible. He wants to use you to fulfill His purpose in the earth, but you must not quit. If you give up prematurely, you'll miss out on everything God has predestined to happen for you.
Listen, if He's given you a mission, He's given you the grace and the power to complete it. It's that simple. There's no such thing as, "I can't; it's too hard; I don't have all that I need to accomplish it..." No, that's the wrong attitude. If God promised to get you to the "other side," whatever your other side might be, then just go forth in the Lord, trusting Him all the while to be your sufficiency.
Don't be discouraged. Tell yourself, "I serve a faithful God who is more than able to carry me through any circumstance or trial victoriously; because I belong to Him, I'm gonna make it through this one... oh yes I am."
Sometimes you've got to talk to yourself and remind yourself that you're not in this thing alone. You're not alone; it might feel like it but, no you're not. It might look like it, but, no you're not. You're not alone.
Even when the way seems hard and the situation looks dark, God is there.
Here's what I want you to begin doing: Focus on God's faithfulness, rather than mountain that's in your way. Can you do that? That's what Sarah had to do when God promised her a child even though she was barren. The Bible says in Hebrews 11:11, "By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised." (NKJV)
Here's what you have to remember; what you see with your natural eye can sometimes cause you to think that God isn't going to work in your favor. Odds appear to be insurmountable and the conditions seem all wrong for you to receive a breakthrough. Oh, but I've got news for you today. God has spoken a word over your life that will not return to Him void. He's already promised to manifest Himself in your life, so prepare yourself. Get your mind ready to receive all that He has for you.
He's faithful to perform His word. He'll do everything He said He would.
So be encouraged today. Focus on God's faithfulness. Look to Jesus. "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;" (Hebrews 12:2a KJV) He has great things already on the horizon for you. Just you wait and see.
As always, thanks for reading, and until next time... may you be empowered to prosper!
