I was talking to one of my six sisters this afternoon. She's finishing up her undergraduate degree in biology. We were chatting about life, business, school, work... etc. Well, there's this long-term project she's working on that has greatly altered her schedule and her lifestyle. She talked about how some days were harder than others... but then she said something I thought to be pretty insightful.
She said, "Time doesn't wait for anyone; if you don't choose to use it well, it's going to keep moving either way. Before you know it, time has passed you by. So you might as well pursue your goals."
"Time doesn't wait for anyone; if you don't choose to use it well, it's
going to keep moving either way. Before you know it, time has passed
you by. So you might as well pursue your goals..."
Isn't that so true? Interestingly, one of the best books I've read lately is Valorie Burton's, How Did I Get So Busy? And one of the things she talks about is how ineffectively we use our time. Unfortunately, we often waste so many valuable moments procrastinating, dreading tasks, and being frustrated with our lives, rather than being organized, on task, and persistent.
Today, I want you to see that your dreams and aspirations are really within reach... and since time waits for no man, you might as well use it to pursue all that's within your heart. Don't you agree?
Someone once said, "Don't count every hour in the day, make every hour in the day count."
You might as well...
Thanks for reading, and until next time... may you be empowered to prosper!
