What's holding you back? Think about it. If you weren't afraid of failing, what would you go after? What would you do? Now ask yourself, "What is it that keeps me from getting out there and going after my vision?"
I wonder... what came to mind?
For many people, it's the fear of launching out into the unknown. Can you relate to that?
Sure, the idea of taking a risk can be intimidating; even still, you don't have to let your fear conquer your dreams. After all, anything worth having will involve some level of risk. But if you're too fearful to at least try, you'll miss out on all that life has to offer.
Someone once said, "Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try."
Stephen Kaggwa said, "Try and fail, but don't fail to try."
Dale Carnegie said, "Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all."
Just try. Start somewhere. Take a chance.
I'm not recommending that you completely throw caution to the wind and live recklessly. Not at all. But at some point, you must get out of the safe lane and begin trusting God for bigger and better things.
As I stated in a recent blog post, you might as well do what's in your heart.
You're certainly equipped and capable. Now it's time to put the gifts, talents, and resources God has given you to good use. Even if you don't feel like you have as much to work with as you might like, that's still no excuse. Whatever God has entrusted to you is more than enough.
So work what you've got and rely on God to make up the difference. You can do it. You've got it in you. You're fully equipped.
Your future is waiting...
Thanks for reading, and until next time... may you be empowered to prosper!
