Ever eaten an under-ripe apple? Yuck! They're hard and they don't taste very good at all. It's not that the apple doesn't have potential to be good... it just needs to finish ripening, that's all.
This reminds me of how the seasons in our lives work. Sometimes, we want to have things right away, but before we jump into something, the conditions need to be ripe or, better stated, right.
There are moments when we get frustrated whle waiting. But have you ever considered that God is protecting you from unnecessary drama, trauma, heartache, and pain?
He knows that if He gave us everything we wanted, right WHEN we wanted it, our lives would be all messed up. Think about it. Have you ever seen an apple-- or other piece of fruit-- that looked delicious in the produce section.
You threw it in your shopping cart and happily took it home. Then, when you sat down and bit into it, you were shocked to find how non-sweet, non-juicy, and gross it tasted?
Well, God is a connoisseur of "fruit picking." He knows when the fruit is fully mature and ready for harvesting. Instead of getting anxious and jumping ahead of His timing, leave things in His hands. You see, right now, God is working to ripen the conditions, so things will be just right for your time of release.
Trust Him, otherwise, you'll walk into things prematurely, and that could be disastrous.
I know you wonder where your future is headed... we all do. But just hold on. Soon, you'll see.
One day you'll realize that the waiting period wasn't a delay at all, and the timing was just right! Don't get overly anxious and end up with an under-ripe apple! Let God soften the conditions and sweeten the deal first. Then, He'll bring you in at the perfect moment.
No one knows how to make a plan come together quite like our God! Remember, He knows just when, how, and where to bless you. When you least expect it, things will turn around. I promise they will.
When the apple blessing is presented to you this time, it'll be fully ripe for for consumption.
Please know, God has every intention to bless you... "The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it" (Proverbs 10:22 KJV).
Until next time... may you be empowered to prosper!
