We all go through different seasons. Some are difficult, while others seem to bring joy and bliss. While you don't have power to change the season you're going through--whether good or bad, there is something you can always count on--FAVOR!
Because you belong to God and you are a marked woman, the blessings of the Lord will consistently chase you down and overtake you. Even if you're going through a storm, unlike those who don't share an intimate relationship with God, you won't be swept away by the winds of change. If you get knocked down you will undoubtedly get back up again, because Jesus Christ is your anchor.
Rather than singling out one particular season, I submit to you that no matter where you are in your life, you're still favored. When things look bleak, you've got to recognize that the Lord is on your side. Even when all the circumstances say you're going down for the very last time, you can still be confident that God will raise you up.
It's not because we've earned it, not because we're worthy, and certainly not because of anything we orchestrated. It's all because God, Who is rich in mercy and full of goodness, always takes care of His own. Whether you're in a season of abundance where everything is plentiful, or a season of lack where everything is scarce-- you're still favored.
Daniel was still favored even when he was in the Lion's den. Joseph was favored even while he was in the pit and in jail. The three Hebrew boys were favored even in the midst of the fiery furnace. And you, too, are favored wherever you may be.
Even when you fall out of favor with people, you never lose the favor of God. You're just chosen and there's nothing you can do about it. Don't try to figure it out. Don't attempt to understand God's ways. You'll only frustrate yourself in the process.
Rather than trying to grasp His methods, focus on this message: Before you were formed in your mother's womb, God already had His hand on you. Every once in a while you need to remind yourself that, "My destiny is not mine, it is divine. God is in control".
There are some doors that He has already opened for you. And although you can't see it right now, the way is already made. No matter what's going on in your life today, I want you to begin declaring this one thing: "Every season is my season of favor just because I belong to God"!
I think this is the perfect place to take a praise break! Begin thanking God for the favor that's on your life. I don't know about you, but I don't know what I'd do without it!
