God is shifting the order of some things in your life. For a while, you're going to feel out of balance, out of your element, and maybe even a little out of your mind. But it's a natural part of the transition you're going through.
I recently read a book by Bishop Eddie Long entitled, "The Elect Lady" scheduled to be released to the general public on January 3, 2008. In it, he explores the idea that life's interruptions set the stage for us to tap into our divine destiny.
It got me to thinking about the idea that life's interruptions aren't always bad. In fact they're essential to our progress. You will inevitably come to a point in your life (if you aren't there already) when God will shift you in a completely different direction.
It's what God is doing in Carmin Wharton's business... in Tracey from Ohio's relationship... in Melvina Garcia's life... (I genuinely thank everyone for their comments. I read each and every one)
Here's my point. Because your life is not your own, you don't get to dictate the path you must travel--not if you're surrendering your will in exchange for God's will. You see, you've been bought with a price. As a result, you have voluntarily given up control of your life and given it over to God.
Consequently, He has set you on a course of His choosing. You don't get to decide what that is. When the time is right, He will give you small glimpses of where you're going, but He never reveals all the details at the same time. That would be far too overwhelming.
Think about some of the things you're doing today. If God had revealed to you everything surrounding your current state of being, before you were ready to handle it, you might have been scared out of your wits. I know I would have been. But now that you're securely settled in your position in life, you handle what comes from day-to-day--sometimes, without really thinking about it.
But please know, God is getting ready to interrupt your daily routine. He has a plan for you that He's getting ready to unfold. Things will begin opening up by degrees. He'll show you a little here and a little there, just enough to keep you on the right path.
Be warned. There are times when God's ways will keep you guessing. Just when you think you have things all figured out, life will throw you another curve ball. But don't worry. Settle in and enjoy the ride. Ultimately, it leads to your divine destiny.
Just know; good things are on the horizon. And the outcome is going to be so much better than anything you could have ever imagined!
Until next time... may you be empowered to prosper!
