What do you do when nothing in your life makes sense? How do you handle it when all the odds seem stacked against you? How do you maintain your sanity and your composure when you feel like the rug has been snatched from under you?
Two words: Keep trusting. I know you may not want to hear that. After all, it probably seems much too implausible that things will get better. Truth be told, during hard times, it often feels easier just to give up.
You question yourself. Nothing seems sure. You may even feel like you’re going crazy sometimes, but you’re not. You’ll make it through this, but here’s what you’ve got to remember.
Never use adversity as an excuse to quit. Never! If it doesn’t happen one way, it will happen another. I know things may not pan out the way you expect them to all the time. But that certainly doesn’t mean it’s over.
All it means is that, the provision will come from a different source. That’s all. So, don’t fret. Don’t panic. Rather, assume the position of expectancy. You should be anticipating a move of God. You see, whenever things go crazy, you’re right on the brink of something major.
If your world seems to be spinning out of control, you’re about to run right into an awesome blessing. Now, I know it doesn’t feel like that when you’re hanging out in the valley of indecision. You don’t really know which way is the right way. Right now, it may seem that up is down and vice versa.
Plain and simple, stuff is just all jacked up. But that’s all right. As long as you don’t give up, you’ll reach your destination. You can count on that one and take it to the bank.
However, no destination has ever been reached without perseverance. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and don’t veer to the left or right.
Set your face like flint and let the enemy know that he will not win. He will not get the last laugh. You tell him and yourself that “Greater is He who lives in me.” And His name is Jesus Christ. You can make it. I know you can. Just keep pushing, pressing, praying, and praising. Before you know it, you’ll look back on this situation and laugh!
And trust me . . . you’ll get the last laugh. Don’t you ever doubt that for one moment!
Until next time . . . may you be empowered to prosper!
