One-Line Bio

"For me, it all started with a desire to inspire..."

Biography

Dianna Hobbs is a wife, homeschooling mother of 4, ghostwriter, journalist, speaker, and online magazine publisher. She is best known for her role as Founder and Editor-In-Chief of Empowering Everyday Women Online Magazine (EEW Magazine www.eewmagazine.com), the #1 Online Magazine for African American Christian women with more than 1/4 million subscribers.

EEW Magazine comprises a community of African American Christian women in search of a Christian alternative to secular magazines that is based exclusively online.

"My desire to inspire women through writing started back in 2004 with the launch of a newsletter called Paradigms and Principles," Dianna explains. "That's how I got my start. The newsletter subscribers went from single digits to triple digits and just kept growing."

As time went on, Dianna felt called to turn her passion for circulating uplifting articles and newsletters into a new fixed format called an online magazine.

"When the Lord first placed it on my heart, I knew nothing about how to run a magazine. I didn't read them and still don't," she laughs. "It was crazy. But I stepped out in faith and God has continued to bless EEW Magazine."

Aside from her work as a journalist and publisher of her popular online magazine, Dianna is also President of Hobbs Ministries, an online branding consultancy specializing in ghostwriting, editing, online PR and web design. Hobbs Ministries services many of the nation's best known and most progressive leaders. (www.hobbsministries.com)
